Celebrating the 98th Anniversary
On 1 May 1923, the Buddhists Society opened a school named Parakramabhahu Vidyalaya, in a rented building on Main Street, Matara. Parakramabhahu Vidyalaya’s motto was “May I be a true Buddhist”.
